The Artwork I am Obsessed With
I was just walking on Newbury Street in Boston…when I absolutely fell head over heals in love with this piece of art hanging in the window. And now i’m obsessed with the artist too!
I love art, for many reasons. But the art I love the most are the pieces that really make me feel something. For me, generally color really sparks those feelings. Whether it be the bright orange pumpkins in fall, or the brilliant blue ocean in the summer pictures. The vivid colors really stimulate a different part of my brain!
That is why, when I passed Stephanie Saunders Gallery on Newbury street last fall, I feel in love. Her work is bright, beautiful, brilliant, unique, authentic and real but also exaggerated.

The way Stephanie uses color and how she is able to create these pieces is truly remarkable. I have also gotten the privilege of meeting her and I have to say that her breathtaking art work is almost as beautiful as her soul. She is truly a gift to this earth! Everyday I wake up and I see my elephant painting, yes the one above, in my room and I am reminded how lucky I am to live in a world where such beauty exists.
